I had 7 years worth of saved games on that drive... RIP
I'm gonna try to copy what's left of the old drive onto my new drive so that I can rescue my savd games..
    Fingers crossed...

    Yes, I appreciate your input
I already have an external hard drive of 400gb, my C drive was only 40GB. I've managed to rescue my old drive C and transfer the data onto my new drive. Everything should be up and running tommorrow, provided this installation EVER finishes...

The Shivering Isles bug is that after like 30 hrs of gameplay that the NPCs start to dissapear, making the game unplayable, but all this is corrected with a patch. If it sais your C drive is corrupt, then it served it's lifetime, or it has a serious virus, so I don't recomend that you copy everything on your new drive because it may be infected as well. Instal Windows XP and then install an antivirus program( the APG Free Edition or something like that program is free so search for it on the web if you don't have money to buy any other antivirus program). Now plug in your old drive and scan it with the antivirus program. If it doesnt show anything than it's OK to copy those files.

Trust me, you don't want to know.

I have Vista Ultimate, and I haven't even installed it yet. I'll stick with XP until they release SP1.
