S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl Message Board  

Ok I decided after slaughtering those con merchants who duked me out of 800rubles for a gauss gun that I would go into the labs.

Ok so there was bandits and that gaurding the place so I eradicated them and thought that the place would be filled with scientists ...boy was I wrong, that place is so scary!!

After dealing with fireballs and two zombie stalkers i managed to get through the key door and down further and then I get stuff being thrown at me from nowhere *crapped myself at that point* so I try and run away from it and go down a corridor thats sealed off by a door and then it starts to bang (what the hell is behind it)??

then i go down another corridor and hear a big scary roar , so i stand outside of the fence bit and fire about 3 mags of 7.62 into the darkness which was filled with containers in it , then this big fat ugly scary mother f****r comes out of nowhere and i pump that full with two clips ( what the hell is that)

what i want to know is how the hell i can get out of this place i dont want to do that mission anymore its too scary and im not enjoying the game!!! i thought this game would be fun where u go and collect stuff and hunt but theres all these freaky super monsters which make it a horrible game !!!

if the only way i can get out of that place is by completing the mission can somone tell me if theres more horrors that await me and where their positions are so i can be prepared for them

i am low on ammo after trying to fire at all the flying objects and the fireballs but i have lots of grenades

please help i want to get this over and done with so i can explore the chernobyl reactor and swim in the rivers and stuff near it???

im not so sure i wasted loads of ammo and nothing happened so i just ran
