Halo 2 Message Board  STATUS: ON HOLD - This game is currently patching very frequently and/or is early access with few downloads. It is counter-productive to continue updating the trainer under these circumstances. When the title becomes more stable and/or is out of early access, it will be re-evaluated for an updated trainer. Trainer updates for this game may still be released intermittently while in this status depending on our current workload.

Our Halo 2 Trainer is now available and supports RETAIL. Our Halo 2 message board is available to provide feedback on our trainers or cheats.

I built a new PC for the next generation of games and I wish I would have stuck with XP. Specs below.
    Thermaltake Armor case
    BFG 1000watt power supply
    Nvidia nForce 680i SLI
    Intel QX6700 Quad core
    4gb of Corsair XMS ram
2 Nvidia 8800GTX vid cards in SLI mode
    Soundblaster X-Fi Fatality Pro Series
    Western Digital 500gb hard drive
    2 DVD/cd burners
    Windows Vista 64bit

Woah, how much did that cost you?
You can run 4 games a once with that, never mind one...

I really dont see the point in getting vista for just 1 game. I have both the first halos and they were awsome and I like the halo on the pc but halo 2? I already downloaded Halo3 Beta from Crackdown and it kicks

I would get Vista if I were you. It's not just Halo 2 thats Vista exclusive, but half the new pc games coming out are as well, or at least require dx10 to play with optimal performance, which again, means you need Vista.
As for those that complain about how "buggy" Vista is, I'd like to know what those bugs are. I've been using it for a couple months now and I've not run in to a single bug. The only things that are even mildly annoying are the "cancel or allow" and having to set administrative access to all your folders.

    Well, i have:

    AMD Athlon64 4800+ X2
    2GB DDR PC3200 (Dual Channel)
    Geforce 8800GTS 320MB
    460GB Hard Drives (300GB & 160GB)

I am surely gonna use my 160GB Hard Drive for the memory thing that i have heard Vista using, so then it won't use so much physical memory.

Which would leave more for the games.

Well, i have ordered Windows Vista the other day, for the new games coming out. (like Halo 2, Crysis etc.)

I hope i am as lucky as you are. hehehehe

In order to take advantage of vista, you need a premium dx10 8800gtx/gts card and not cheap geforce 8600 or radeon 2600 either. Then, 2gb of ddr2 and core 2 duo 6600 plus vista home premium; thats 1000 dollar easy to take advantage of the vista experience.
Like myself, I can't do without my trusted xp professional, so a 200gb seagate 7200.10 hardrive will be loaded with xp while the other with vista.
