Did u guys notice that the name of the spartn king is pronouced diffrent from the movie 300

Of course different
There are many way to pronounce a king in old times, u know ?
So its not a problem but the main problem is they choose the wrong actor to voice Leonidas
And unfortunately Sparta failed to use the 300 momentum to build its fame too

Well, actully we don't know what his voice sounded like...no one, atleast I think, wrote on a tablet (or some ancient paper of some type) what his voice sounded like. And, Spartans actully had armor, and they used it. The movie is actully wrong about them running around in a cap and underwear.

Duuuh the movie is based on a comic..... not on reality...

Wait hold on now, next your going to say Xerxes was not actually 8 feet tall or that huge rhino's were not used and the immortals didn't have hideous faces and pointed teeth and the persians did not use monsters or have an executioner with blades for arms. What next, they didn't actually talk in English also

Lol yeah, the movie was all fiction. Not in the sense that the battle didn't take place. In fact, that was probably the only factual part of the movie; the battle and the death of the Spartans at the end.

I also don't think heads fly upwards when cut off as well.

yeah i agree its hollywood for christ sake! not everything can be perfect

Oh please people, you can't comper history with Hollywood. Most of the thing in the movie are lies, exept the fact that the fight realy happened.
