Just wanted you all to know that a Max Payne movie has already been confirmed and being made as we speak, it'll be a small independant film and they say it'll be done sometime this year...I just hope they don't screw up Sam Lake's brilliant character, a bunch of unknowns will play the cast...the short movie as follows:

They'll obviously release more info on it in time but just know this will be a small film nothing more...the cretor of Max Payne 'Sam Lake' has given these guys the blessing to make the movie so just know it's purely fan made and is only 15 minutes long, they say it's a bigger part of a larger story...(maybe a full movie who knows?)...and it's a 'stand alone' piece meaning it won't step on the toes of both of the games (meaning a new storyline)...like I said I just hope they don't screw up the Max Payne character, it'll be released online 'free of charge'...no video, well...maybe in the UK but no where else. It'd be against the copywright if they did...
