i think you do your rolling attack to the tree and a leaf falls down that you can ride like a snowboard

if your trying to get to the top, just keep going until you reach a dead end. Once you there, dash/roll into the dead end and a mini avalanche will happen allowing you to continue
ps. if you have the sketh of the monster, take it to the zora in the kakariko graveyard and he will give you his earing which allows you to catch the reekfish that are right across from the entrance to the ice place

hey hoffman pretty much everyone advice is corret about getting to snow peake you do need a sketch and go to the village to get the special lure it will be in the grave yard return to the water fall and fish for red fish you'll find them by two large rock formations once you catch a fish turn to wolf and follow the sent. you will have to roll into the tree to know off a leaf and just follow the taril that the yeti used.
