Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars Message Board  

The only addition to the Kane edition (aside from the bonus behind the scenes DVD) is a couple of extra multiplayer maps as far as I know. The main game files themselves should be identical, so trainers should work with either version.

i got it working approx 90%. the F5 3-keys dont seem to work w/my version(Kane Edition v1.0). oh, and the trainer seems to hang if you are using v1.0(just to answer above poster)

ps. where do you get the patch 1.1?(no official link on their page..) Found it... oddly its not in the auto startup menu this time 'round(its in start menu "Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars Control Center" if you are lost like me )

I was talking about the differences between the standard and Kane editions, not v1.0 and v1.1.

tried to update the game, only to find i get an error that c&c3 official board-members are getting too. :P sad. oh, and still unable to get the f5-options to work. "I" keeps bringing up the INFO shortcut. other buttons have no "female voice acknowledgement" oh and game will still hang if trainer isnt shut down 1st(?)

it maybe possible the Kane edition is slightly different enough to cause it not to work?(that would be a tragedy wouldnt it...)

The kill enemy power doesn't seem to work, but the kill enemy money seems to make them start from scratch.

I've got the Kane Edition

The U and I keys do not activate the voice (only the F5 key) and the options DO work even though the INFO screen comes up when you press I. You can do a skirmish match and turn on both options and play to the end where u see the stats. You'll see that both keys worked fine.

We're working on the MEGA trainer now so if anyone has any specific game keys we need to avoid, now is the time to mention it.

If needed be you can always check the hotkey section under your settings, it contains the hotkeys for all functions.

Sometimes it's unavoidable as we have more options than available keys. We try and stay away from shift/alt/ctrl combos and the numpad keys (for our laptop users).
