War Front: Turning Point Message Board  

I probably buy and play a dozen or more of this type of game a year but when it comes to the computer having all of the advantages, the power slanted toward the AI and a game almost impossible to beat in skirmish mode, this one is the world champion. I mean you can't beat the thing with or without the trainer. The AI seem to generate a remarkable number of troops, tanks and planes before you get a chance to even get comfortable and, that really doesn't matter since the AI seem to have the upper hand in power as well as numbers. I've had four AI soldiers with two to three tanks and one or two planes clobber me even though I had a dozen tanks, a half dozen half tracks, two dozen bazooka men and a well defended base. It seems like my tanks and guys have to hit them half a dozen or more times, while they can knock one of my tanks out with only a couple of hits or less. I had six tanks bashed by one Stalin Organ and one tank even though they knocked out the Organ and repeatedly hit the Russian Tank. The only effective player I seem to have is the hero. At least he is the only one who can handle what the enemy send in. Another thing I hate is the rate at which the AI can manufacture and pour in men and equippment and, they always seem to get the advanced units before the human player even has a chance. While I'm busy trying to defend my base in what is a lost cause, the AI has me topped by at least four advanced units, (though how they can mfg and research so fast is beyound me,) which they use to finish me off. Playing the campaigns is different and not all that hard, though hard enough. I don't usually even need a trainer or a cheat to advance in these. I guess the producers of the game decided to make it so hard to play skirmish games against the computer that, non internet players such as myself would give up and play on the internet. There isn't much chance of this happening, at least not with me. I'll just move on to another game where things are a little more even in skirmish mode and which normally have more maps and an editor as well.

Just play the single player, I do and I have finished the game in a day.

Good game, but a bit cheese.........

It's doable but it costed me a lot of frustration..
I think how harder you put the PC (Easy/normal/..) the more extra recourses they get ontop of what they normally earn.
This is the same thing in CoH when playing against Hard/Expert PC
So basicely the PC also cheats
So you got a point OP...
Meh sounds pretty basic/boring.. in SP, just my point of view
