i kno when the bar gets about half way full and switches views, you wipe out. but after you wipe out fill it up again a second time and itll work

Keep doing it over and over again until you get the hang of it.
Here's a little advice. Start off fast (not too fast...you'd want to save the energy for later) and when the bar gets half way (or until the camera switches) tap the button even more faster.
