Hey could some one help me and tell me what to do after i give that guy water in the desert cuz i ca

Hey could some one help me and tell me what to do after i give that guy water in the desert cuz i cant find my way to the arrow cuz of the zombies that u have to kill three times HELP

While killing everything is a helpful tactic that has gotten me out of several situations i think you must go to some castle up the north road from the place you start ( i forgot the name because i haven't played in a while.. Silver Creek i think)
