My game is updated to 1.5, and I have downloaded the 1.5 trainer. I have unzipped the two files, and have read the instructions file. When I try to install the trainer, up pops and warning that informs me I must read the instruction file or the trainer does not work. I have read the file three times but the warning still comes up when I try to run the trainer file.
Any idea what I an doing incorrectly?

That's just a part of the graphic, it's not a warning. Just for information. Run the trainer, then run the game and use the options that you want.

For some reason just cannot get it to work. I'll keep working at it.
When I click on run, do I have to download it into the game folder or do I just need to run the file.
I guess it will not work for me, as when I turn the game on, and hit the F1 button I stll get the HQ. Any suggestions?

Run the trainer (shouldn't matter where) and then run the game while the trainer is still running. Try some of the other keys besides F1. You should hear a voice if the keys are being recognized by the trainer.

PWizard: hmmmm this trainer stopped working for me at 1.5 Im not sure but the problems people are experiencing may not be their mistakes. Also I have had every trainer since subscribing here, going back to 1.2... I think... anyway just to show you that I "know" how to run them. I thought 1.5 worked when I first got it, but have been sidetracked by other games lately, anyway picked up COH the other night again, and nothing... I just get the game building menus for those "F" keys.... no more voices... I downloaded the trainer again, same thing....

One thing I noticed when testing the trainer is that the options may not inject correctly on saved games or if you 'continue campaign'. If you restart the level they kick in and work fine.

For example, when I updated my game, I clicked on continue campaign where I was in the middle of a mission. When I activated the trainer options I heard the voice, but nothing changed. I clicked on the game menu and then RESTART. When the level restarted, the options had kicked in and I had 32768 of everything.

So, there may be some issue of saved games from previous patches causing an issue. Try restarting the level or the game and see if options work then.

Yes, right now I am experiencing a lot of unstability with COH. I could not get the Vanilla COH to load up a campaign game, that crashed..... I seldom use savegames anyway , because of all the patching and mods kicking around.... One mod I use alot with the trainer was KMOD, that plays alright, but the trainer doesnt work with it either..... [always used too by the way]So it is either the newest version or 1.5, but neither of them am I having luck with at the moment. I just loaded up a brand new mod and the map I was playing crashed 5 minutes into the game....

By the By.... that little test package didnt work either...

I had an updated german voice mod installed in my game, and when I tried to update the game to 1.5 it failed, upon triying to find out why, I forgot to finish the pacthing... so I was trying to run 1.5 trainer with 1.4 game.... Found it out when I tried the older 1.4 trainer and it worked.... thought what the Heh!!!

Anyway thanks for the help... thought something was broke for sure
