Could someone give me some instructions on how to mod this game, from what I hear the game is easy to mod, and only thing to do is to modify some files. I'm talking about simple stuff, like pop cap, cost of units, health, speed of buildings and units building.

Also...a question, would that kind of modding be compatible with some mods(Galaxy Divided,Spaceship Add-on) who also use XML files or even have their own installation??

Yes you are right the game is easily moded as you noted. I was able to get a tool from one of the guys here. Basically look at the extension for the main data file and then look for an extractor for that. I was able to beat the game and MOD is before the actual MOD came out. Which by the way deserves a lot of praise. Once you have the XML files you pretty much just read through them and then figure stuff out. Once you have the files you just put them in your data folder in the game directory and then there you go wiping out the galaxy one fleet at a time. Enjoy!!
As soon as war is looked upon as wicked, it will always have its fascination. When it is looked upon as vulgar, it will cease to be popular.

Since you seemed to answer his question (since he has not replied since) good job.

Thanks for the info, but to my second question, is this kind of modding compatible with other instaling mods?

I don't want to screw up my game, since it is known that two mods might not be compatible with each other.....
