I cant find that config file . Its not in h instalaton folder . please help !

use that one when you start the game
save and play and then exit and they should have been a cfg generated in the main game folder

I still cant find the config.cfg file, even when follow the steps that are provided in this post. Any idea where the save file and any other files for the game is stored? I use win 7.

You need to make the config file itself. Copy the following lines to a blank Notepad document:

#!TXT#CFG_FILE#
STRUCT "root"
KEY "cheats" BOOL TRUE
END_OF_STRUCT "root"

Make sure to save it as a .cfg file and not a text document. Also make sure you save the file in the root directory of the UFO game itself. That will allow you to access the in-game cheats.

I've done it all properly, but for some reason I can't open the console with ` or ~. Any ideas?

I have done everything as instructed, yet still cant seem to open the console to type in the cheats.

Pressing Shift+~ does not work, nor does anything else I tried.

Its as if the console is just not there anymore.
Anyone know what to do?
