Rainbow Six: Vegas Message Board  

Hi,
i have the same problem like thekillingwax, Mexico Level all is OK, but in the next Level, the Casino, the game go back to Desktop after a short time without any message.

Can someone help me with this?

We're currently looking into these issues and will do what we can to get them corrected if we can reproduce the problem on our end. I appreciate everyone's continued feedback on this trainer.

We've tried and are unable to reproduce the problem on the casino levels that some people have reported. We would like to get some detailed re-create steps and possibly a savegame where the problem happens every time so we can try and pinpoint the problem.

...there are several bugs with the game including "Random crashes to desktop" and "Memory Leak". It could be that the trainer may exacerbate some of these issues, maybe not.

It's always hard doing a trainer for a buggy game as you never know where the problem might be. Again, we'll continue trying to reproduce the problem if someone can give us more detailed information on how to make it crash each time. Thanks.

He goes back to Desktop in the fitst Part of the Casino Level (the one after the Mexican Level) when i go in the Building after the Wall is destroyed.

It's not the same place every time, but not long after i enter the Casino and the Checkpoint is saved.

I can send you a Savegame, when you can say me where i can find it.

Yeah, I can usually play for around 15~30 minutes at a time and it just kinda crashes at completely random moments. It most recently crashed after we hacked into the security feed and started back down the stairs to what I'm guessing are offices behind the security area. I totally agree with you though, I'm thinking it's just a buggy game to begin with and like they say, it's hard to build a house on crappy ground.

I did find an update for my Xfi drivers but no change.

Just a question, are you the same Chris from the old GNO @ avault and something else before it (cheat wizard or something like that)?

I think you will have a hard time finding this little bug the crashes happen at any time in the game. I've had it crash withing a few seconds of play and then it can play for 1 to 2 hours before crashing to desktop. But i will say most of the crashes do happen when pressing the space-bar but you have to press this a hell of a lot. lol.

No over heating on my system CPU 39C max on core 1 and 2 GF card runs at 52C
