Take them to a Blacksmith and he can insert them into sockets on your armor/weapons. Or, you can equip them as weapons themselves.

Thank you for answering me, but I tried both and they don't work!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a Gladiator and v1.6.26! I think I had also tried with my battlemage but it didn't work too!what shoul i do them???????????

also trying to find as doing that and it doesn't combine.....I placed you vary forms and I didn't get....

You have to install 1.7 or above to use skulls with the blacksmith. It can be done.Just start at 1.7 and install higher versions until it works. I think Underworld allows it automatically. The best skulls I've found so far are in the southern desert to the west. But collecting ang getting them out are different matters.
