Do you use my Cheat MOD for Underworld? If you do, you have to remove the entire Mod (or the UNITS_SPACE_NEUTRAL_ECLIPSE.XML only) for this single mission because i modified the eclipse, so that it's playable and the scripts in the game (that let you capture the eclipse) aren't working with this modded eclipse.
If you don't use my mod you only have to fly your shuttle to the eclipse and the you'll capture it

Also on the droid factory mission, the mod has to be removed, the shield droids are invincible with the mod active.

You're right, but i completed this mission without removing the mod, because i used the cloaking ability and hurried up to deactivate the droids!

Removing either that specific file or the entire mod causes an error. In other words, when I remove either just the file, or the entire mod, and attempt to load the game, an error box pops up which points to a file for further information on the error. The file the error points to states:
"Exception in thread 5C4 - Main Thread Exception code EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access. Attempt to read from address 00000008"
When the entire mod is added back, the game plays fine, except that I am again unable to complete the "Capture the Eclipse" mission.
Is there something in the UNITS_SPACE_NEUTRAL_ECLIPSE.xml file that I can edit, which would allow me to keep the file, thus allowing the game to run, and in turn allow mission completion?
I realize you cannot recode everything for every person, but I wanted to ask, in case it's something I can edit, rather than needing to start from an old game.
Thank you kindly for any help you can give, and thanks for a great mod!

in your saved game, do you have the eclipse in your attacking fleet??
Perhaps thatswhy the error occurs.
Editing the XML-file is not nessecary, because when you remove it the game uses the original one in its packed .MEG files. Also i am not able to edit the UNITS_SPACE_NEUTRAL_ECLIPSE.xml so that the last mission is working correctly, because the capturing of the Eclipse works with scripts and i think they are written for the original xml-file only.
try the following: remove mod (the entire XML folder) be sure you don't have the eclipse in your attacking fleet.

Thanks so much for the quick reply!
I don't have the Eclipse in my attacking fleet, and have tried removing the entire mod folder, as well as just that one .xml file, both to no avail. No worries - my last save was just under an hour previous to this spot. I'll just unload the mod, and start from there.
Thank you again for the very quick response, and for a great mod. You've been very helpful. =)
