So I came here looking for a trainer cause I want some cash, couldn't find anything so I started poking around config.cfg.
If you change the following line in your config.cfg:
"cfg_COMMAND_POINTS_MULTIPLIER_FOR_DECOMMISSIONING_SHIP = 0.5"
to
"cfg_COMMAND_POINTS_MULTIPLIER_FOR_DECOMMISSIONING_SHIP = 10.0"
Then when you sell a ship (from a previous mission) you will receive ten times it's value in return. If you sell back a ship immediately after you purchase it you will only receive the purchase price back.

PWHET you people try too hard. This is nothing more then Armada 2 config file so most of the armada 2 cheats apply for example to start with a billion space bucks all you have to do is change this in config.cfg file and you are set to go.
cfg_InitialCommandPoints = 9999999

That's neat though it wouldn't have helped me out since I was a good way into the game before I found myself in need of cash.
