Hello, everyone. I hope I wasn't the only person to notice that Fall of Man: Resistance or whatever it is for PS3 is eerily similar to Gears of War in plot, and in the enemies? The main villains look alot like the locust and have many similar units. Just thought I'd put that out there.

P.S. Also, I would like to state that Gears of war is probabaly the best game in history, and the Fall of man or whatever that is is probabaly just ****ty.

I'm not surprised there is a similar plot out there. When was the last time someone made a shooter with a good original plot anyway?
I'd put GOW in the top 3 single player shooters, but the multi player needs to do some growing. I'm not displeased with the size of it 4v4 is a good round death match setup but I'm displeased with the lack of death match options; such as plain old free for all death match, and possibly to Capture the Flag mode, but with XBOX LIVE anything is possible I suppose.
I think Capture the Flag would be a awesome play mode for GOW because of the fast paced movement.

Yeah, the multiplayer is also not very user-friendly. Sometimes it gets difficult to navigate and matches aren't what you want them to be. They should also have a better optimatch system with like levels and stuff so I don't always get my ass kicked. lol. But other than that, the game is near perfect. I could play it all night .

doesnt surprise me one bit that PS3 is trying to run off of the 360's best game.
the multiplayer has a few kinks but campain is almost flawless, love it

i love GOW's online, i have 2000+ kills in warzone. some new game modes/maps in the upcoming patch would be cool though

btw, I have played resistance. it is NOTHING compared to GOW. the ps3 launch was a horrid mess up, the console is nothing compared to the 360 when it had a extra year to prepare.

everbody i need help wit gears of war in the dark near the graveyard DOM keeps dieing by the bats and i cant get any further if he continues to die like the way he keeps dieing
