I'm to the point where you have to get the sheep in the pen, and I failed at it. Then the next time I got in the game, I was on a different horse. (Not herding the sheep) I'm guessing this means my game didn't save or something? I dont know. But now I don't know what to do, I can't herd the sheep again, and I can't talk to anyone! URGH.

When you fail the game, it takes you to your last saved game. Or, the point you were at in the game when you last saved. Look in your inventory and see what you have. If you don't have the article on Farmer Dude, then you are probably after you met with Mr. Blacklock but before you went to ask Mr. Scrivener about it, or whoever. Just go to him, show him the business card, then he will give you the article. Then just start again. For a fool proof way to herd the sheep, go to my new thread, Need Sheep Help? Need Quad Help? and go from there.

The last thing in my inventory is the property deed, but I can't talk to mr.schrivner. The last thing it says in my journal is 'I must get more information about this Vincent Blacklock and his property deed. The villagers may be able to help me.' But I can't talk to the villagers, ahhhhh!
