The one thing that I would like to know is, why was some of the nations such as the Mongols, etc., made unplayable. I can see listing the rebels as a non playable faction but the remainder I cannot. The Mongols and the Timurands or whoever they are, would have to be two of the strongest factions on the boards, yet they are unplayable. I've tried unlocking these as I did the campaign games that were locked until you completed certain requirements but, they won't work. The message is, do not translate, faction listed is unplayable. Still they are listed as having certain weapons such as rockets, elephant riders, etc., which would make them a worthy foe for anyone. Of course if you happen to be in the right part of the world you will get to fight the Mongols and the latter race who conquered India and Persia and, we will be able to take on the Aztecs and fight the Pope if we invade the Papal States but, that just isnot good enough for me. I think all of these factions should have been made playable and, in that big patch Sega talks about coming up with, sometimes, whenever or never, they should include these factions as well as those we already have.

GGaius,
I am unsure as I have not played the game yet (I own it though) but I think that the unplayable factions are from the new world and thus; why you can't use them. There is a very likely chance I am wrong though.
