but it is nice to have 600+ turns like i do so here is how u do it.

    1) find imperial_campaign file.
    Medieval2TotalWar/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign

    2) the open the descr_strat with notepad or wordpad.

    3) u should see which factions u can play as and under them should be starting year and end date, and timescale. i start out in 180AD and end at 1530AD with a timescale of 0.50

way to many turns really but its fun. think i am gunna change the timescale back to 2.00

i am in the 600 turns with just takeing one zero out of the 1080.

make sure u backup the file before playing with it or u will have to reinstall the game.

    have fun

also if u dont mess with the dates just the timescale. putting the timescale to 0.50 will give u 900 turns. and settin it to 1.00 gives u 450 turns.

hehe thats pretty nice since one turn actually is one half-year (two seasons), u know like winter and summer. And therefore it would be correct to have the timescale of 0.5 so that two turns equal a year. Instead of the rather dumb winter+summer = 2 years, which is the norm.
