i've finished the game only once with a fire mage and now i am at chapter 4 with a paladin,should i

In a way the 3 sides are like the 3 camps in the first Gothic. Paladin - Old Camp; Mercenary - New Camp; Fire Mage - Swamp Camp. And the difficulty is the same, Paladin - Easy; Mercenary - Medium; Fire Mage - Hard.

How come i ws playing Gothic 2 today and a random mechant in Korithis(? first city :P) was selling a wep that did 125 damage, one handed.

guess your having NOTR installed since you found a weap that does 125 dmg
