When I use create_unit the units show up in battle as white textureless people. I'm guessing this is normal, since the soldiers aren't from my faction, but I haven't seen anyone else take note of this. So is this normal? And is there some way to get the textures to load?
I appreciate any info and/or help I can get.

yea it seems like that when you create units not from your own faction or mercenary/crusader units.

Yes this would be an awsome mod or unofficial patch that would fix that. I miss using all those beautiful units by the way for people who dont have that problem try and make a unit from a different faction and use it in a battle. if the unit is properly textured please tell us how you set up the game. thanks.
EDIT: xxApolloxx: mind showing us how you did that then (try it with something you know for sure if from another faction).
