This is what I just did unfortunantely I had to go buy a Geforce 7600 GT 256 KO overclocked one its very nice anyway game had no issues, but when i quit game it went black crashed on me and computer reset again driving me crazy i needed that video card anyway. I read more in read me files and then I uninstalled ROME total war i have onmy comp and alexander. Was weird whe I uninstalled ROME you will see a pic in background of Medieval 2 and ROME is at the top so they communicated somehow. I think there is some type of confilct. I thought it was Pizzas Trainer but its not.and I play other games no crashing issues weirdest thing I have seen. Unless something is up with its pre-installed dx driver I cant think of whats wrong. I tried and played it for a while after uninstalling ROME and Alexander its working fine now so far. I dont know dude keep me posted please...BTW it said certain motherboards wont allow game cards to use full 128 mb and causes Medieval to Crash a lot it says in read me file. all these years waiting on this so glitchy this sucks

I've been reading on forums elsewhere that plenty of people have been experiencing crashes and lockups (I've had one lockup) so, along with the other stuff that they need to sort out, they're going to be pretty busy for a while with creating a patch, I think.
