Jeremy Clarkson himself stated that the car was meant for cruising at low speeds, straight line drags and nothing else. I think when EA created the game, they bore in mind the effectiveness on the track, not in real life; yet it is just a theory. There is no way a Shelby GT500 '67 (for example) outclasses a Lotus Exige on a racetrack. It's just not possible due to the very fine suspension tweaks, light framework and powerful engine that the exige has. Simply put - Muscles were not made for the track.

Yes, Muscles arn't track, that is the good thing about exotic cars, they are pretty fast, but are still good to handle
They also look cool
But tuner car are preety good in handling... Don't they..??
