Edit 2/14/04:
In the "Onslaught" mode of play (my personal favorite and IMO the most fun of the demo), if you want your Node to build faster you can use the Alt-Fire for the Link Gun on it (instead of being green, when you aim the stream at the faint floating orb, the stream turns red). This strategy can also be used to fix vehicles on this mode !!!
