I don't know what to say. I think that you have to kill an enemy summoned monster. Firstly drop the sword of haste file into Resources folder and try to delete the other mods(if you have).

Has Anyone gotten this thing to work?

Would you be so kind as to post a -detailed, well written description- of how to install it and how to acquire the item in-game?


Do I have to find a monster that summons other monsters and when I kill that moster the sword will be dropped and then when I pick it up another monster is summoned that I must first defeat before I can have the sword?

What kind of drop exactly? Any short sword? A sword specifically called "Short Sword"?

It is quite easy.Drop(or copy) the SwordofPrismaticHaste.ds2res into Resources folder that is found in DungeonSiege2 folder by default.This mod works on short sword, that means that it has to be reported in the label of the sword the word "short" (not long, board etc), (e.g. "short" sword of might, "short" sword of chaos etc). Any short sword you find or buy turns into Sword of Haste. Hope i helped

well, all you have to do to install it is to put it into your resources folder and it will work. ANY character in game that is holding a short sword i.e. the blade guards in aman'lu will have the sword HOWEVER, the people come in-game with kurgan pets which you auto attack whenever you come near about 50 meters of them. you cannot get it from them, however, that is just a side effect. Since it is impossible to find in shops, (okay, almost impossible) you can hope to find it using monster drops. HOPE... you have about a 1/100000 chance of finding it that way. btw, anyone know what the web address for the guru's website is?
