ALOS, you guys DO know, that you can use artmoney at the creation of your character to max out you initial amount of stats and spells? Works for everything but feats. Just do an exactvalue search a couple of times, it will find it- might be two or three- just freeze them all, freeze the values, then give yourself everything you can then unfreeze SET the last item to where it "squares" up to make the last item give you "0" amount of points (so you can hit "NEXT" button and off you go.) Works for initial stats, initial spells, etc. Also during the level up process I am pretty sure you can do it as well for the amount of points. This way you can tailor your inital guy the way you want him and up thru the process. However, the massive console functions are what REALLY shine, but I always Artmoney hack my starting stats/spells as they are such an easy exactvalue search.
HEY, I remember I was able to do SOMETHING to get my custom make weapons into the single player campaign somehow with NWN 1 (but its been a LONG TIME). I used the toolset somehow, and maybe the DM, but does anybody remember? I think you have to give the items to yourself in the verybeginning of the game though... Also have to set it up to where it has no level requirements for those "Super Weapons/armor/amulates" hehe.

Oh, wiat I think what I did was create my super items/super whatever, create a VERY room, set up a mod, then gave myself everything, the EXPORTED my chracter and imported him into the single player game with all euquipement? Damn, can't remember :/ But I remember being able to start the game off with super weapons- I liked the dual "Shock" Maces that threw everyone across the screen when I wacked them, hehe.

Character stats are simple enough to change with the console IMO. I like the idea of freezing the skill points, but to be honest it's not a priority for me personally.
As far as custom items go, you need to make the item in the toolset and put the resultant UTI file in the OVERRIDE folder. Then you can add the item to your inventory via the console's giveitem command. If you try making acustom module and then importing that character into the single player campaign you lose all the items.
Please there must be a way around! there have to! I don't want all my char's to become superheroes, only me, come on tell me it's possible, someone!
That's what NWN1 was. Most people hated that and wanted a party system like Baldur's Gate, hence the system in NWN2.
