Beginning Work on cheat mods..but read

    Well now there are THREE factions. Btw i am working on a multipage explaination with full dictation notes and explainations on my original comprehensive EAW mods so you too can EASILY create your own custom mods for even EAW-forces of corruption because you mod them basically the same.. I have to play the game with the new faction to understand how to properly mod the "Underworld" faction and this is a LOT of work. I am thinking 3 levels of mods for each faction like Level1-a few cheats- level2-a LOT more cheats.

    Level 3-full blown modamania cheat modding and balancing every unit, planet, hero, ability, recharge times for every thing, movement speeds, damage done, salvos per shot, how quickly they pause between each salvo, What they are weak against and strong against, Planet slots for buildings and garrisons, tech level requirements so you get everything immediately, no wait for reinforcments. "Choice" planets that you can grab that have those slots and the planets will be inpenatrable and uncorruptable (for the rebels and Empire- if playing The3rd faction, well planets will corrupt QUICK), how fast units can move from planet to planet in hyperspace-basically planet hopping very, very quickly- which units can also hyperspace and the list goes on and on and on.

    This means 9 mod files and the level three modfile requires editing practically everything in the game thats *cheat* releavent. Its something no trainer could ever possibly do, but then again you can get instant build without me having to edit the build times of every unit, building, vehicle,spaceship for each faction and seperating them to where the cheats only work for that faction alon. Its going to take a while... And thats AFTER I play and see what changes where made by adding the 3rd faction. Well I will document most everything I did in the first cheat mods and you guys can customize your own as well It won't be a crappy 1 page thing I just got the game and I am already on page 6 and it will likely be around the 12-18 page range- I will be walking you thru babystepping modding. But its going to be a little while because not only to I have to mod I have to test for bugs, exit game, reload game,ad nauseum.

    Ah, my thanks to you for providing some documentation on how the thing works. Perhaps I'll make my own version of a cheating mod (with credit to you and your guide, of course.)

    Damn dude you just keep pimping on these games dont you? Anyways awesome work on the first set of cheats for EAW. I cant wait for the FOC cheats you will make. The fact that you are including a walkthrough will make it even better.

    I did want to mention that I downloaded the super mod for EAW, and on the Empire side the bombing runs still take a while to recharge... Anyone else have this issue? Maybe its just me.....

    i've had that issue too.

    Not to mention the issue of the victory star destroyer and the interdictor cruisers taking a long time to build.

    my apologies for double posting, but could I kindly ask what the progress on your FOC mods are *and* may I ask kindly how you change the speed bombing runs can occur? X.x

    I have to agree on that build time for the bombing run. So how do we change build times? I've been looking at the XML file and can't find anything for build times. Also do you have an ETA on the new MOD for FOC? Thanks a bunch as always for doing what you are doing..
