Hi guys. I've managed to extract all the individual race ship data from the game files and given each section 1 million health, costing a few pennies, coloniser ships hold 50 million colonists, and all sections can have all the armour and reflective upgrades

You can if you want have all the races at once with this hehe. Might take a while tho

I dunno where to put them so if someone knows where I can upload them to I will. It's a 220k zip file for all four races.

is it for PC only or both PC and NPC? but click on Authors up top to signup to submit work.

If you play a race and have an NPC with the same race you would both have the same advantage. So ideally, you would be the only one of that race playing a game.

The file structure is:

Sword of the Stars\Species\Hiver (replacing the name of the race each time)

All you need to do is move out each folder to a separate one to remove the advantage. I've not tried it with more than the race I'm playing. And weapons can still be shot off (I didn't change these as they are generic to ALL races).

Actually if you have it I would like a copy of those files. Or if not then how were you able to extract them? I am curious to see what fun I can have with these possible changes.

I used Dragon Unpacker v5.2.0b. I sent in the files to here but they don't appear to have been added as a cheat. PM me your email and I'll send them too you.

Wow dude that is 2 thanks I owe you!! That Dragon Unpacker is freaking awesome!! I found the files you were mentioning, now I just need to figure out how to make them work?? Any ideas?

Did you ever find a way to get some of the other files as well? I am talking about racial stats and stuff?

The only other thing I had a look at was the weapon files. But as they are common to all races I didn't really adjust them. Although the race specific ones could be modified.

Another thing I tried was using bigger ship sections on smaller ship designs to get more weapons on them, but it really didn't work out lol.
