i have a wierd view on all of this, i believe in evolution 100% and i believe in god about...10%...like, ive been raised a catholic....i kindof feel i was brought up to know only about my god and to believe only in god and all that stuff...im..not really shure if i believe in god or not....i do believe in a higher being, i higher existance, dunno what it is yet...but, i believe somethin's out there

oh, and, phee, the reason monkeys arent evolving into people is because we didnt evolve from common day monkeys, we evolved from something like a monkey.....its like, us and mokeys evolved from the same thing....like, we're both as evolved as eachother i guess you could say, but, we went one way and the common monkeys went another way..

I remember reading a while ago that Giraffes used to have short neck just like us, and there necks grew after time when on, by them have to reach for food from trees.

Evolution is NOT proven, it never will be because it is a theory, and false at that. I agree with Phee, if evolution was true, monkeys would still be evolving into humans. Throughout all of recorded History, there are no such cases.

God is proven. There is no possible way to explain how we are and why we are except that of a higher power creating us. No possible way to explain miracles except that of faith of a higher power. I HIGHLY doubt that we have what we have today because of two rocks crashing into each other. It is not logical.

A Greek Philosopher 'Parmenides' studied metaphysics and he said. "Why is there anything, rather than nothing." Meaning if there was nothing once millions and billions of years ago, there would still be nothing today.

And what is the harm about believing in a God?

-Believe the following and that God is true:

God exists------------------Heaven forever in the end

God does not exist--------Hell forever in the end


-Believe the following and God is false:

God exists------------------Nothing in the end

God does not exist--------Nothing in the end

So I ask of you, what is the harm of believing in a God?


I was born and raised a Catholic, still am a Catholic and furthering my studies of my religion, but others as well. It isn't a good thing to not know about what else is out there.

If you truly are curious about these matters, it would be wise to look into these matters and study them more deeply. I know I will.

If god is all powerfull, then I have a question for you.

Can he make a rock so heavy that even he cannot hold it?

Can God make a stick with only one end? Who knows!?

We have to assume that God works within His own laws that He made.

We as humans cannot understand anything beyond logic, I cannot answer your question.

good answer. and yeah i am not athiest, i just found that paradox pretty interesting. if you read zorrodude's post...that's basically where i am at in beliefs. i used to be strong christian because i knew nothing else but my neighbor who is athiest i started hanging out with explained to me some of the flaws in christianity and i didnt want to admit it but I think i was athiest for a little... but like you said us humans can not understand anything beyond logic.

No one can be 100% sure about the truth except god himself.

I believe in god and as i dont completely understand either side on religon vs science i am going to have to go with religon and call myself a christian.
