Hi. I decided that I'd try to modify my money reserves, so I opened my savegame. I located the money, and edited it. However, I didn't back the file up as I did so.

Afterwards, the file became corrupt no matter if the data was changed back or not, so I am now without a savegame.

Can someone upload a savegame preferably after you own the pawn shop so that I can find a method of changing it without hte save becoming corrupt.

Where can you find your savegame?

In the main Scarface directory. I think it's Save.DAT

It's a .DAT file, anyway.

I downloaded the saved game but the games that I already have saved aren't .DAT files. They only read as files. If I change them to .DAT files the game does not see them. It might be that I have the downloaded game from Direct2drive.com or maybe I'm doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

when you open the RAR/ZIP, right click the save and take away the "Dat" but leave the "." in. So it'll look like - "Example." This will make the savegame work.

Now I can back up my savegames hehehe...

I can't seem to do it, I open the WINZIP file, right click onit, and I don't get anything to remove the .DAT file. How do you do it.

i uploaded the 84% savegame after lack of interest of collecting all the money to buy all exotics and killing all gangs so feel free to download it and if there's any problem with it write it in here,but for now i try to make 100% savegame and uploading it after i reach the 100%.
