hi. i just want to try some cheats. it says enter ~-tilde, but it doesn,t work... no cheat panel comes up.... what to do?

you'll notice a cursor at the bottom, type in the cheat code you want and you are done

When you see the Cursor type in the cheat code and press enter. example Player.additem 0000194 20 (Add 20 Varla Stones) the iem then apprear in your inventory or stats etc depending on the cheat code

Also you may not get the Cheat code panel IF you have Windows media Center installed - Some kind conflict between the two but the fix is simple. Windows Media Center PCs (the majority of them at least) come with a remote sensor connected to them to allow the use of a remote control to control the media aspects of the PC, such as TV, videos, and images. n order to bring up the cheat console in Oblivion you will need to unplug the remote sensor from the PC.
