when you use old save where do use the lego star wars 1 characters?

Well after you buy the extra "use old save" go on the start screnn press extras and go down to where it says use old save press X and it will say it is on hope i helped!

You can use the old characters in free play mode after you turn the use old save on after you have bought it in the extras option at the cantina.

Does using an old save give more characters in slots? or does it only use the old characters?

the old save is useless...i had invinubilty on the first one but its not there when i use old save-what gives!
