anybody have trainer for doomsday? especially for the research part of the game

Doesnt your version of the game come with the game editor? Its pretty useful if used correctly...or game crashing if it isnt. However, you can set yourself up with all the research via the editor easily, its just the editing the IC or the resource generation per province, which tends to crash the game if it dislikes one value you put in.

But yeah, a trainer would be very useful.

I don't know how easy a trainer would be for this game. But honestly you don't even need one. If you havent found out already you can edit your savegames. Its very simple just go to the directory you installed it under and go to "...\scenarios\save games". There will be 2 files per savegame. Obviously you have to create a game to save first but when you do look at the tech teams in the country's list that you want to play and remember it. Save, then open the EUG file (not the one with ".eug" in the title, select the larger file) with the same title with a text editor then use "Find" to go to that tech team. Once there you will be in that countries stats and things so you can change all of your tech teams skills to 10 (I believe this is the cap). You can even add abilities to said tech teams so you can have them work better. I dont know of a limit to how many "Abilities" a tech team can have. I have only went to 7-8. Scroll down afterwards and there will be something called "research_mod" and change that to whatever. I have gone up to "5000.0000" although techs wont be instant, used in conjunction with "Event 1012" they go extremely fast probably even without. By 1939 you could probably be very deep into research and way ahead of anyone else. (Some countries do not get a "research_mod" but you can add it to the list but put it before "upgrade = {" bit. Finally, there is "peacetime_ic_mod" change this again to increase the amount of IC you have before war, keep in mind going to war will negate this and you will be back to whatever your base IC is. (This trick is good for Germany or the US and works best in 1936 games) Im not sure if you can take off the "peacetime" part and have it all the time, Ill have to look into that. You can also add resources, transports, escorts, and alot of other things. I havent tried editing units or other effects/bonuses of your country so I cant comment on that. Other then that make sure you back up your savegames just in case you mess up. Have fun being uber.

Hmm a trainer would be very useful, cheating in HoI2 is a pain in the ass. Especially when u try make more IC, and spamming an IC event is not in any help.
