yeah, its true. there is going to be a new HALO movie, coming 2008. here is a summary, even though most of you already know its just about well... halo lol

Halo is an artificial "ring world" that was created by the Forerunners long ago. Activating one is said to wipe out all sentient life within 25 thousand light years away from it. Not much is known about these Forerunners, only that they killed themselves by activating the Halo's from a special control center called "The Ark".There are a total of 7 Halo's in all. Very few say that some of the Foreunners survived and the human race was created. Some even think the Forerunners were humans themselves! In the year 2552, our distant future, a genetically-enhanced human called John Spartan-117, aka the "Master Chief" was taken aboard a Human Battleship named the Pillar of Autumn and put into hyper sleep by an on-board AI Unit [Artificial Intelligence Unit] named Cortana. To escape the wrath of the Covenant, an alien race at war with the humans, Captain Keyes makes a jump through slip space, landing in the area of one of the Halo's. The Covenant believe that the Forerunners were a type of Covenant, being their ancestors. The Covenant also believe that activating the Halo's will not destroy all life, but will instead propel all who are worthy along the "Path to enlightenment" and allow them to transcend physical being. They refer to this as the "Great Journey". The Chief takes Cortana off the Pillar of Autumn in an "abandon ship" sequence, only to land on Halo with the other marines. Keyes crashes the POA [Pillar of Autumn] on Halo in an attempt not to break Cole Protocol, which clearly states that the destruction or capture of a ship AI Unit is unacceptable. The Chief and the other surviving marines must try to stop the Covenant from releasing the Flood and wreaking havoc among them.

Oh trust me, EVERYONE is going to want to see this movie, even if they don't know wut halo is!

i agree with halospaz, they better not butcher the game, and i think it will be on the top list of the movies, with like 200 million first week,hahahahahahaha
