Only until the recent ‘Burnout 3: Takedown’, this was the master of arcade racing! Although the first installment showed real promise, sold tremendously well and had great potential, this is the game where it all goes insane and is set loose! From the grinding battles on the freeways and through towns, to the sinfully popular crash mode, this game scores big. The generic cars are great and have a fine spread of power vs. handling. The graphics are just sensational and almost have you reaching to dial the Emergency number when you see a pileup!
