It was kinda short, yes... but since it didn't cost the same as a "full length" game, I guess it works out about right.

Personally I think that's a really lame idea by the game company, or whomever is responsible. I'd rather pay $60.00 for one big epic game than 20.00 for a game with a good graphics and decent story that just suddenly ends and leaves you hanging.

Yeah the game itself was fun, and sweet graphics, which is what makes it worse that its so short. You know the reason behind this is squeezing an extra 20 dollars here and there from kids as they pop out new "episodes".
This is some marketing guys greedy idea that single handedly ruined what could have been one big epic game. Personally I hope it backfires on them with poor sales on their next release.

The real kicker is that Sin Episode One is Episode The End. There will be no sequel, even though nine were originally planned.
The following is from an episode of GFW Radio (12/13/2006) regarding Sin Episode 2:
Jeff Green: Sin Episode 2... Shawn Elliot: ...is likely not happening now. A lot of the people from the dev team have left. Jeff: At Ritual? Shawn: Yeah, they've gone elsewhere. They now work for other people. Some of the key people. One of the lead programmers. That's not a good sign.

That's what I meant by my 'backfire' response. There will be no more episodes unless someone decides to buy up the rights...
It might happen - I mean, look at the amount of games that have had sequels released many many years after the original, by a new developer.
