Like i said its nothing like the total war series. Just because you can control troops and heroes dosent make it anything like total war :P.
Who said it was like Total War?
Ain't this the standard Strategy game?
Btw, anyone tried with CoSMOS yet?

I see there is no point in arguing,it seems you didn't play any of the Dawn of War series or play the Warhammer figure game, or we didn't understand each other.
The game is good. Little less brutal then expected,I mean, Warhammer is known for its brutality,Dawn of War is much better in this. Map is like in Rome:Total War, turn-based with cities, camps in wich you recruit Regiments(1-60 soliders),war machines, heroes... which you lead into battle, real-time battle. In the real-time part you can reinforce your units(but only existing regiments),you have heroes, who earn experience which you can spend on new abilites, armor, weapons. Normal unit also advance in rank by earning experience, there are also tactical options like in total war, like flanking the enemy, spear vs. mounted are stronger and more... Graphics is great, the turn-based map is litlle boring, option for editing your army appereance is great(faces, armor, weapons). The game is very fun.
I play Warhammer 40000 Dawn of war and Warhammer 40000 i have 8000 point Warhammer 40k Space Marine army and also collect guard. Ive Read both rulebooks. Neither say anything about the 2 universes being together. You forced my hand. The rest of the statement i agree with however since i said it was like Rome: Total War (where you create armies in a Meta-map style of gameplay with heros and regiments then command them on the battlefeild in a RTS style format. Besides the point ive read many books based on hard facts about both games and i see nearly no resemblance. Im soory to burst your bubble but thats how it is.
PS: im getting a bit upset and angry about this affair please LichCraft drop it ive tried to be sensible thus far. you know that.

Im soory but i dont want to hear any b.s without some kind of backup i agree the sides are similar but otherwise give me proof or none of anything either of you said means anything. And by proof i mean Games workshop published articles (a link to a GW page stating this will work too.) Games workshop will solve this stupid petty argument. Give me proof or all your saying is YOUR PERSONAL VIEWS witch i dont care about at all. Good day.
