They both work. If you press the F8 and you try to move a character, only move it a little piece and if yo don't get a pretty big "moveable" are then press it again. I have this same one and they both work. In this patch you can use the "process_cq" cheat as much as you want. You can also use the "create_unit" and "add_population" cheats as much as you want. For any other advice don't hesitate to ask.

You can take "any" settlement with either one of the following sets of troops.

Hastati, type it exactly like this:

    create_unit "Rome" "roman hastati" 5 9 9 9

This will give you 5 Hastati troops with max skills. If you defeat an enemy general or troops, this group of troops will produce a general.

Praetorian Cavalry, type it exactly like this:

    create_unit "Rome" "roman praetorian cavalry" 5 9 9 9

This will give you 5 Praetorian Cavalry troops with max skills. If you defeat an enemy general or troops, this group of troops will produce a general.

Those two sets of troops are the only ones I can get to work, although I did create a set of archers once, but couldn't do it again. I forgot how.

Just create 5 Hastati & 5 Praetorian troops and combine them. You will then have an unbeatable army.

Those sets of troops can take "any" settlement and "any" army.

I tried using the create unit cheat thing, but Im not sure if its working or not. The shell acts like it took it, but I can't seem to find the troops anywhere...also...is it..

    create_unit "Rome" "roman hastati" 5 9 9 9
    or
    create_unit "Rome" "roman hastati" 5999
    or
    create_unit "Rome" "roman hastati" "5" "9" "9" "9"
