K i got the trainer and the version required and i figure i don't know how to use the trainer.
do i just keep it on while playing?
or do i exit it and play?

once you have started the trainer (whichever version you have) run the game using the trainer. It probably best to put the trainer inside the DL folder because the trainer will search the executable file.
Then poof you're in the game, just press the required key for the corresponding cheat.
