Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth Message Board  

I have a problem with BFME. In Campaign Act 5 Rohan, 10 minutes into the battle all of the Rohan troops, buildings and Citadels explode and I cannot continue. It happens every time. Has this happened to anyone before? any help would be appreciated. thanks!

Hi there I have reached this stage too. I have also developed problems in act 20 as well. It seems to effect my gondor force as they are defeated in the same way. It is really annoying as it has something to do with destroying all the enemy villages before the time runs out. It may help but I have got to the stage where I have limited forces and only a number of heros can any one help cheers.

Hi, I figured this out. It has nothing to do with the time running out. It was copyright protection gone awry. I have legal copy, was running on XP Home, I upgraded my computer to XP PRO and for some reason the game thinks I don't have a legal copy!!! The solution is to remove the game (do not delete your saved games), reinstall and provide the key. After doing this, I had no problems again.

Good work dude! I also did the same option. I wonder y EA has thsi "Anti-piracy" theory, but sure, guys like u always have the upper edge!

yeah, i had this problem for a little while, but that was purely because i d/led the trainer (hoodlum +8) and it completely screwed the game to buggery.
It was simply remedied with a little re-instal though
