You can throw people into the prison and they spend the rest of their little lives there or untill you take them out.
The torture pit just sacrifices people for evil points.

how cool is the prison?!?!?!?! I made my creature run behind enemy lines, pick up this kid and take him to my capitol. as soon as my creature put him down, i grabbed the kid and put him in jail. he was about 6 then and he's forty something now. I know, i'm cruel.
