Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Message Board  

When I fight along with Farah for the 1st time, I've to defeat the blue monster.I tried vaulting over it's head and using the dagger, nothing works. My fingers hurt from smashing the keyboard. Pls help!

is he the guy with a big ass spear? I can't remember, but i think you can just start slashing him, then knock him down and use the dagger, or if not, freeze him with the dagger, if not then have your back to a wall and press the "X" and square at the same time, and you should vault off the wall and knock him down, then u can use the dagger to absorb him or whatever, but if your on bout on the pc then im not sure the controls, but "X" is to jump, and the square is to slash, so just use then controls for them

If you are talking about the monster with the spear then just bash him, but if the onster is a kind of "boss" the Prince refers to as "Father", heres the tactic:Start vaulting over him and hitting him with your sword. After a while he will kneel down and then strike him down and give him the last blow with the dagger. Don't forget to block!! it is vital. Good luck to everyone who has this prob. :P

First you have to kill all his fellows. Then try vault over him and strike. When he lay down use dagger to absorb his sand.
