How do you defeat him?

Reed says "Johnny, Supernova" then some buttons come up at the bottom of the screen. What am I meant to do?

I've worked it out now. The bar on the screen for the "finisher" has icons corresponding to moves. As the indicator bar moves across, perform the move relating to the icon in the short time limit available. If you do it right and in time the "finisher" is complete and you go on the then next section.

i tried to do that and just get hit by Doom by saying flame off what shoulod i do
