After playing this game I felt much more immersed and, in the end, satisfied than when I played the FPS games like Nightfire or Agent Under Fire.
A 3rd person Bond game last graced gaming in the form of Tommorrow Never Dies on PSX, which was on the whole a pretty good game, but the developers went back to FPS with The World Is Not Enough and Agent Under Fire.
In general I much prefer 3rd person games as you can get a good look at your environment from all angles and not have to turn to face everything and its a more dynamic way to play (ducking, hiding, wall cover, shimmying, hand to hand etc).
I think this is the way the 007 games should go in the future. It gives the experience of playing a movie much more so than if it were a FPS.
The next 007 title is 'From Russia With Love', yes, from the old 1960's film, but broadened and chock full of Bond moments. Even a few car chase sequences in the DB5! It would be good if they made a 3rd person game incorporating Roger Moore (Spy Who Loved Me) and Timothy Dalton (The Living Daylights) as well.
So, what do you all think? Is this the way to go for 007 games?

I don't think so, i mean look at Goldeneye it is to date the best Bond game ever and it was first person but i did enjoy everything or nothing...i wonder did you beat the game cause if you did i'd be interested in how it ended, i got stuck on the mission where you have to drive that weird tank through the square and i just couldn't complete it in time

It's been a while since I played it all the way through, but in short the end of the level you are talking about has the whole area in front of the Kremlin sink into the ground after you destroy the underground pillars.
You end up in an old KGB bunker if I remember correctly and have to destroy Diavolo's lair and at some point you have to fight him from an elevator as he hovers around the place in a Harrier jet, which had me stuck for while!
What else can I say? You already know Katja is a baddie by now and you know what? Just to refresh my memory, I think I'll flog it again tonight!!
