Sims 2, The - University Message Board  

Hi guys its me Mistie again! ok i have downloaded a bunch of stuff and this stupid message keeps popping up: Please double click a custom content package file to intall the content. AAAAAAAHHHHHH maybe someone can help me.. I want to intall it but i just dont know how and if you do speak slowly..lol.. computer stupid here... Thank you soo much for all your help!

i need help with that too, it's extremly annoying.

you are supposed to save the game somewhere and then double click and it will ask if u want to download it. if it still comes up with that...well...bad luck...?

What you do is what ever you what to get in the game download it to C:\Documents and Settings\(Your Username)\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads. Then it will be in a zip file. Right click on the zip and press "Extract all..." and extract it to C:\Documents and Settings\(Your Username)\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads. Then when your game loads up a screen will ask if you want to use the stuff in the game. Press "Enable Custom Content" and you have downloaded stuff now.

I have done all of that but I can't use any of the sims I downloaded any where except create a sim. I can't use them in my game unless I download them with a house. I can't get costom skins to work when I am in create a family. How do you get that to work.
