I have problem with completing the task where I must destroy the paintings in Noir Gallery, where Jeanette set me. Everytime I hit a painting with knife, I loose a lot of blood and the painting stays untouched. What do I have to do?

there is way to cut all off the painthings u need to cut them in a specifick order(and there is a boss when u cut all of the paintings and unlees u have th GOD mode on he will be a to beat)

I've found the correct order and slashed the paintings. Killing the Blood guardian was quite difficult, but he's as good as dead.

the sequence to kill the paintings and release the blood gaurdian are as follows, cain kills able, god damns cain, cain finds lilith, cain spurns lilith, then the sequnece of all of them slashed will make the blood guardian appear he is rather tuff especially in the earlier stages of the game where your character is weaker, he causes aggrivated damage, so what you can do is use blood buff to add to your unarmed and swing until you get down to critical health then run away from him as fast as you can and while doing this you will start to regen the lost health and over time regain it all back do this process, and you shouldn't have too much of a problem with the guardian but beware of doing blood buff too much, as it will send you into a frenzy, (i frenzied while the guardian was to the point of death and he still hit me to the point of near death before he died finally.) the frenzy state will let you land some damn good blows but, you will also be uncontrolable during the frenzy period.
