What he means is when you directly click Battle.Net a small window pops up in the middle of your screen, and it downloads temporary connectivity files which help curse the lag away. With his issue, he needs to "Port Forward" (www.portforward.com) the ports which would be stated at that website, on his router.
What blocks most ports is a built in router firewall. I myself disabled this built in firewall by going to my router IP (192.168.1.1) and enabled DMZ, and typed in my router IP, which is (192.168.1.100).

You mean the mission with the Anti-Undead Aura? I think I'll post my own solution which I'll put into steps:
Step 1: Create an army of fast, yet has lots of HP and research 'Cannabalize' if you use Abominations or Ghouls
Step 2: Go to the wizard near the generator (it's a blue crystal with a circle underneath it) and kill the wizard.
Step 3: Retreat and heal your units (and create more if some died).
Step 4: Go to the next wizard and also find some boxes and destroy them, inside are creatures that aren't harmed by the aura and they are ready to fight.
Step 5: Repeat 2 and 3 (you don't have to do three, if you think you're fast enough).
Step 6: Repeat step 4 then kill the last Archmage and you have finished the mission!
Note that you should send in waves if you're have difficulty and you must concentrate all of your units on the wizard to kill him quickly.
