practice is the keyword...If you're in front on the last lap just stay cool. Dont let anything distract you...

Kurt is a peice of cake to beat. He's actually a lousey racer. I beat him with a Honda Civic. Anyways,if its all that difficult,take all but nitro off your car. Kurt will do the same. Now the 2 of you are virtually stock. If you have the Skyline or s2000 unlocked,use it. You'll be faster than him and your car will be easy to control. But keep your custom suspension. That's important. This trick will work in any race. Any performance you remove from your car the opponents will do the same. Just make sure to use a car that's faster than theirs stock. Skyline is your best choice.

The catch up mode for the AI is based on top speed of the car more than the car's performance. One good choice is to use the Miata maxed out, but with stock transmission. This will slow down the AI. The RX7 won't work because it's top speed is too high even with a stock transmission.
